Apple wins Cannes Lions Grand Prix

The outdoor campaign “Shot on iPhone 6” (TBWA/Media Arts Lab for Apple) wins the gold medal at Cannes Lions Grand Prix 2015.

The so-called “World Gallery” is really a window on the world. The city where I live, Bangkok, is being fully covered outdoor with this campaign: billboards, prints and light boxes in many strategic area of the city on-the-move. Powerful landscapes and portraits from all around the world, shot in a sort of National Geographic style by not professional photographers. I have to say that the photos are beautiful, the campaign “it’s not just a great idea, it’s a game changer. It’s really opening a new way of doing things and changing behaviour”, as Juan Carlos Ortiz (DDB Americas), president of the jury at Cannes Lions 2015, has commented.

The erotic radicalism of Ren Hang

The main Thai newspaper in English, The Bangkok Post, has reviewed the successful exhibition of Ren Hang in Bangkok.
It was the first time that the Chinese artist had a solo in Southeast Asia and when we at MoST Artists and the gallery Soy Sauce Factory have decided to work to make it real, we had not expected such so great response of public, art critics and young and established collectors.

Ren Hang has been arrested while taking photographs four times in China, and a couple more abroad.
